A foam sprinkler is a fire extinguishing device that generates and sprays air foam. The foam mixture is delivered to the sprinkler via a pipeline, and air is drawn in at the spray nozzle to create air foam, which is then sprayed into the protected danger zone to extinguish the fire. Low-expansion foam sprinkler systems are used in this process.
